Coniston Winterfest

On February 11th,12th & 13th Coniston hosted their Winterfest. Northern Credit Union Coniston Branch supported the weekend festivities by sponsoring the sliding races. There were approximately between 35 & 40 participants in three categories GTs, Snowboards and Toboggans. The winner of each heat recieved a Loonie. First place winners in each category recieved $5, 2nd place winners $3 and 3rd place winners $2. After the event all the participants were treated with Hot Chocolate and Timbits. Fun was had by all and we look forward to next year. Kudoes to the Coniston Branch staff especially Patsy & Gwen for giving up their free time on a Sunday to work the event along with myself.
